Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival

19-21 October 2012

A Celebration of Music, Dancing, Art and Craft

In Australia's Most Beautiful Valley

 Accommodation

Camping is not allowed at the festival site (Kangaroo Valley Showground).

Camping and cabins are available at the adjoining Glenmack Park.  You can't reserve unpowered camping sites at Glenmack and sites are given out on a first come first served basis.  Powered sites are limited and book out quickly.

Cabins and limited camping are also available at Kangaroo Valley Tourist Park near Hampden Bridge about 1.7km from the festival site.  They have 22 cabins, 8 powered sites and 14 unpowered sites, all of which can be booked in advance.

Free camping is available at Bendeela Campground, 8km from the village, along Bendeela RdBookings are not required.  They have done a lot of work lately and it is looking really nice.  Amenities are basic (toilets but no showers).

Kangaroo Valley has many other accommodation options including motels, B&B's and holiday cabins.  Renting a cottage for the weekend is a very economical option for groups.  For more information visit Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association , Kangaroo Valley Getaways or Kangaroo Valley Stays.

The nearest large town with a selection of motels and cabins is Nowra/Bomaderry, about 25 minutes drive south over Cambewarra Mountain.

The next festival is 19-21 October 2012.  Book accommodation early as cabins and motels book out very quickly, not just by festival folk.
