KVFF performers Russell Neal (Black Joak Morris) and Stafford Sanders (Baggage & Stuff) have won a national songwriting award - and they'll perform the song at our festival. Their "Christmas Cheer" won Best Comedy/Novelty Song in the ASA Australian Songwriting Contest. Russell describes it as "a jaunty but salutary tale of Yuletide overindulgence." Russell is also the driving force behind the Songs On Stage network, and has won the category two years running! Russell and Stafford will play the song at the festival.
